Celtic fans took great joy in seeing Rangers crash out of the Scottish Cup at Ibrox last night, with Aberdeen winning the Scottish Cup replay between the two sides.

The Dons will now face Neil Lennon’s outfit at Hampden in the semi-final in a massive test on the road towards a ‘treble treble’.

Goals from from ex-Celt Niall McGinn and Connor McLennan in each half were enough to see Derek McInnes’ team through, breaking Rangers fans’ hearts and providing great hilarity to Celtic supporters.

The Gers’ season is now effectively over given they are also sitting eight points behind the Hoops in the Scottish Premiership with just nine games remaining.

After a big name manager arrived, millions were spent on loads of new players and stars like Jermain Defoe arrived, ultimately all they have to show for it is the same as last season, and even Graeme Murty took them a round further in the Scottish Cup.

These fans took to Twitter to share their joy with last night’s result…

  • The reason that sevco have kept going with results, and Moreorless scoring as many goals is, because there are far too many servo supporters playing for other teams and standing by watching him, and let him score goals. The quicker people realise that Morales is a midden the better. The thing( not a man) should be thrown out of football all together. Anyone ever noticed that he only kicks out at people when thier backs are turned?. Yes a little coward!. Nothing more than a thug and coward, and ofcourse the ibrokes fans are so gullable, and are blind this cowardly tactics, and cheer him on!.. What a shower of plonker! Hail Hail. Happy Christmas, as it is all you peepeel have left!!!!! Bye bye.
