We are always looking out for new, young and talented players.

That’s always been the ethos of the club. Buy potential, sell stars.

For decades we have thrived on that business model and it seems that adding players like Jota and Abada along with academy players like Ralston, Montgomery and Lawal will see us right for the next few years and beyond.

But are we missing a trick by not trying to tempt Australia’s latest young talent in Jonny Yull?

*NEW* Half Time Teaser. Who am I? How good is your Celtic player knowledge?

The seventeen year old is now currently undertaking a two week trial at Chelsea with the hope to join their youth academy.

Making his debut at just 15 years old for Adelaide United, when he signed for the club, their Sporting Director Bruce Djit said, “We’re excited to have signed Jonny and Alexandar to scholarship deals.

“They are two of the most talented players currently at our Club with Jonny already training with the first team and has already experienced A-League football.”

Check out this YouTube video from BestSocceroos:

According to this clip Yull ‘runs non stop’ and has maybe ‘three lungs’ and is an intense player that fights for every ball and is also creative in the final third.

Certainly seems like a player that would fit the Ange Postecoglou mould and could develop into a very good first team player.
