Celtic produced an excellent performance on Tuesday night to put one foot into the next round of UEFA Champions League qualifying, thrashing Alashkert 3-0 in Armenia.
Hoops fans were delighted with the display, but one player in particular caught the eye in the second half…
It was Celtic’s established first team stars that fired the team to victory, with Odsonne Edouard looking as impressive as ever up front in combination with Moussa Dembele.
However, new signing Lewis Morgan stole many of the plaudits coming out of the fixture, appearing off the bench for a 15 minute cameo in the latter stages of the match.
He was very lively when he came on, driving forward and winning the corner that led to Celtic’s second goal of the evening.
Arriving after an exceptional season at St Mirren, hopes are high that Morgan can be a big star in the Brendan Rodgers era, although he will obviously find competition for places in the team fierce.
One option is sending him out on loan for another half season, or even the entire 2018/19 term, ensuring he gets the regular first team football he needs to develop further.
These fans on Twitter though want to see him get more opportunities at Celtic Park, with some even calling on him to start the next match…

Lewis Morgan should be starting the next game.
Looked excellent for the small part he has played. 👏

Lewis Morgan looks so positive and exciting, even in that wee cameo tonight.I'm certain he won't be sent out on loan & will figure in the #Celtic first team plans this season. Also felt Kouassi did a decent job when he came on.But still think Rodgers need to strengthen in defence https://t.co/jXrTz7NY5z

How would you handle Lewis Morgan’s development at Celtic? Would you send him out on loan for the season or give him more first team chances?…
