The Bhoys are surely going to have to be ambitious in the transfer market in the summer when it opens up for business.
Perhaps I’m sounding a little drastic given that we’re on for another season of multiple trophy wins but this year has suggested that there are weaknesses needing to be addressed.
Certainly, I think we need more going forwards with the number of draws we’ve had this year and so that will surely be part of Brendan’s shopping list.
Whilst we wait to see what he does, though, an interesting question has been doing the round on social media asking whether Scott Allan has a future at the club – let’s look at the debate on Twitter:

I would give the boy a chance.

I believe we should give him a chance don’t think he got one under Ronny

Sorry, not good enough. BR said a few weeks ago some people are comfortable at certain clubs referring to his form at Hibs. He will stay at Hibs imo

He should have it's maybe just down to confidence and belief

The Verdict
Personally, I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen from Allan in the green of Hibernian.
That’s them, though, and we’re at a different level so he’s still got to prove a point. I’d probably give him a chance in pre-season but if it’s clear he’s not good enough I can’t see why we’d keep him. Let’s see what he can do with new confidence though.
