Sidelined skipper Scott Brown has given special praise to South Korean international midfielder Ki Sung-Yeung in his absence.
“He has been brilliant to be fair. He takes the ball, has two good feet, plus he can score a goal, that`s for sure” – Scott Brown |
Ki has prospered recently after a rather slow start since signing a four-year deal at Celtic Park in January. Such has been the level of his progress in recent times that he was handed the October Young Player of the Month Award
The 21-year-old scored his second goal of the season during the recent 2-2 home draw with Inverness Caledonian Thistle to add to his earlier effort against St Mirren.
“I think Ki has come in and been one of the better players since I have been injured and has done very well,” Brown told Celtic’s official website.
“I think it`s maybe taken him a wee bit of time to find his feet up here,” he added. “But now that he has, he has been brilliant to be fair. He takes the ball, has two good feet, plus he can score a goal, that`s for sure.”
