Celtic have got some signings through the door at long last this January window and it seems as though more are being linked too.
Timothy Weah, Oliver Burke and Vakoun Bayo have all signed for the club to help bolster our attacking options for the rest of this season at the very least.
Certainly, it’s made up for the sluggish start to the window but now it is time to improve on our defensive options.
And, that in mind, Jack Whatmough is a player we should be happy to see our club linked with by the Sun.
Some, of course, will say that he is a League One player in England but that actually means little and he is good enough for a higher level.
Part of a Portsmouth side heading for the title, he’s a sturdy centre-back with room to grow into a real player.
Some might sneer, but I think Brendan Rodgers would turn him into a top player.
