Celtic fans continue to monitor the progress of prospect Karamoko Dembele as he edges closer and closer towards making his first-team debut at the club.
Manager Neil Lennon was in attendance this week to watch the 16-year-old star for the Reserves side in a 3-2 win over Hearts.
The youngster scored the last minute winner with a sumptuous free-kick that evaded defenders and the opposition goalkeeper.
Dembele only recently became eligible for league action due to his young age and the focus will now be preparing him as much as possible for senior action.
It’s unlikely we’ll see him until the Scottish Premiership is won as a certainty, but in the final few matches we should be celebrating an eighth title in a row and what better way to celebrate than give supporters a glimpse of the club’s future.
The teenager has had hype behind him for a number of years now but if he continues to impress for the Reserves with Lennon watching on then it looks like we’re finally about to see a return on that with an official debut.
These fans took to Twitter this week to share their excitement with his progress…
