Striker Moussa Dembele could be available for Celtic’s Champions League showdown with Paris St-Germain next week.

The 21-year-old has been sidelined with a hamstring injury ever since July, but manager Brendan Rodgers won’t be taking any unnecessary risks ahead of this evening’s visit to Hamilton Academical.

“We have to be sure he is right if he is going to have any involvement in the [PSG] game,” he told BBC Scotland. “He went to Clairefontaine [France’s national football centre] for three weeks and did some great work with the medical team there, like he’d done here before he left.

“He’s back and we’ll assess him really to see where he is at,” Rodgers added. “The most important thing is we don’t risk it.”
