Celtic striker Teemu Pukki is hoping to relaunch his career under new manager Ronny Deila.

“The first year with Celtic has been one of adapting for me” – Teemu Pukki

The 24-year-old netted seven times in 32 appearances last season following his summer arrival from Schalke. But the
Finn was most often restricted to coming off the bench and concedes it was a difficult debut campaign.

“Getting the chance to play in a pre-season with Celtic is a great incentive for me and should make things a little easier for me this year,” Pukki told Celtic’s official website. “I felt good towards the end of the season and was scoring goals and got more confidence in my play.

“The first year with Celtic has been one of adapting for me,” he added. “A lot has been different for me over the last year but the end of the season was good and I found it easier to play.”
