You know when Anthony Joseph puts his name to a story there is some substance to it.
Joseph is a trusted journalist when it comes to reporting anything Celtic and with him being a Hoops fan, it makes it a lot easier to listen to him.
With so many transfer stories doing the rounds, which ones can we take as being a solid and reliable piece of information regarding the club?
Joseph gave us all the full run down in one brilliant thread on the state of play with Itakura, Harwood-Bellis, Mohanad Jeahze and the future of French defender Christopher Jullien:
Itakura, who Celtic looked at last summer, has been on loan at Schalke this season.
The German club have an option to buy the Japan international, but it’s understood they may struggle to pay the agreed £6m fee.

Meanwhile, Celtic continue to look at a number of left-back options.
Talks have taken place with Hammarby’s Iraq international Mohanad Jeahze, but have not gone any further at this stage.

Jullien’s time at Celtic seems to be up. His public outburst just under two weeks ago show his frustration at not making the matchday squad despite his claim of being fit since January.
Jullien appeared to take a dig at Ange Postecoglou’s selection process when he said at the time, “For my part, I told the coach in January that I was ready to go.
“Now it’s his choice and sometimes he doesn’t name me on the bench because he prefers to take a midfielder who can play in central defence.
“I’m unsatisfied with my playing time this season because it’s frustrating and all I want is to be on the pitch.”
Those comments didn’t go down well with some sections of fan media as well as with this site and it remains to be seen where Jullien will be playing his football next season.
