Celtic look to be on the verge of making a fourth January transfer window signing, with The Scottish Sun reporting that Andrew Gutman has agreed a deal to move to the Scottish champions.

Having already signed Timothy Weah, Vakoun Issouf Bayo and Oliver Burke this month, the Hoops have wasted no time in adding talent to the squad that should boost our chances of winning major honours in the second half of the season.

Defensive signings are needed too though and signing up Gutman at left-back will provide cover for the injured Kieran Tierney, competing with Emilio Izaguirre for playing time.

The 22-year-old is a highly rated prospect emerging from the American college scene, earning the accolade being named the best college player in 2018.

He was also previously on trial at Rangers in December, but appears to have opted to sign up at Celtic Park instead of Ibrox, delighting supporters.

These fans are eager to see what he can offer and took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his arrival…
