That was undoubtedly our best performance of the season, with Celtic putting on a virtuoso display blowing Killie away by five goals to nil at Ruby Park.

The most exciting aspect of a near-perfect performance was that the players seemed to be having their own, Goal of the Game competition with 3 early contenders for goal of the season with Jota’s powerful long-range screamer, being added to by duel overhead kicks from Jenz and Giakoumakis, showing that we are the true dominant attacking force in Scottish football with most teams seemingly unable to cope with our speed, finishing and talent.

Jenz not only impressed with his sensational goal, but his all-round game, he really does look like a Rolls-Royce of a defender with great tackling ability, imposing height and physicality, and a great ability to carry the ball forward crucial to keeping pressure on the opposition.

The only negative of his game is the fact that he picked up an injury in the second half although, as if to highlight the strength and depth in our squad, he was replaced by Swedish international Carl Starfelt who himself grabbed his first goal in the green and white hoops.

Overall, today’s game shows just how good this Celtic side can be and that we as fans are lucky to be treated to such quality on a weekly basis.
