Celtic fans are interested in the club pursuing a deal for Liverpool full-back Nathaniel Clyne, after he was reported to be on the brink of an Anfield exit by The Liverpool Echo.
Clyne has made 99 appearances for the Reds since being signed by Brendan Rodgers back in 2015 but has fallen out of favour due to the emergence of the excellent Trent Alexander-Arnold.
He’s made just one senior appearance under Jurgen Klopp this season and is clearly on his way out of the club.
Is a reunion with Brendan Rodgers on the cards?
The Hoops certainly need a right-back, with Mikael Lustig looking increasingly unable to keep up with the standards we need to compete at home and abroad.
Clyne will be on expensive wages and other Premier League clubs may be interested, but a short-term loan in the second half of the season isn’t completely unrealistic.

Wasn't it Rodgers who brought him to Liverpool?
