Celtic supporters couldn’t find fault in the performance of midfielder Olivier Ntcham on Sunday, as Brendan Rodgers’ vibrant Hoops side brushed aside the challenge of Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.

The French midfielder scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win, sweeping James Forrest’s delightful assist past a helpless Allan McGregor.

His goal aside, Ntcham was the best player on the pitch, bossing the midfield area and keeping Celtic moving forward with a range of passing that no-one else has had at the club for years.

He is arguably the best player in Brendan Rodgers’ first-team squad right now and appears to have the kind of potential that will take him to the very top of the game in general.

Can he now maintain his performances and having the Hoops motoring well into the new season?

These fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his performance today…
