Not so long ago this season many had taken the decision to write off Scott Brown as a Celtic player and felt that the end was nigh for him at our club.
A loyal servant that’s been class for us for years, he was struggling with injury and a move to Australia seemed on the cards.
Thank goodness, though, he stayed put because once again he has shown that he is the main man when it comes to the biggest of all games.
Any critics there were of him before the match have surely been silenced now, too, because he was an absolute force to be reckoned with.
At 33, there are no signs of him slowing down and, clearly, he is as key as ever.
He’s been a monster at times this season and amongst the carnage and chaos of yesterday afternoon, he was clearly the man to be.
Another masterful performance.
