Everyone knows that Celtic have to make major moves in the January window.
After Thursday nights hard fought 1-0 win against Hearts at Celtic Park, the team succumbed to three massive injuries as the winter schedule starts to take it’s toll.
According to former Scotland and Spurs defender, Alan Hutton, Celtic are already well down the road with their preparations for this transfer window.
Speaking to Football Insider, Hutton said, “If you ask any manager from any team, there’s stuff in the pipeline.
“There’s always things within squads that managers need to strengthen, change for whatever reason.
“Of course they’ll have targets already pinpointed, positions in the team they think they need to strengthen. They will try and work towards those targets.
“January is normally a difficult month to get in whoever your top target is, if you like. Sometimes other teams don’t want to let go of their best players.
“They’ll have a list. They’ll know what they want to strengthen and how to move forward. So it doesn’t surprise me that they’re working in the background.”
With Celtic being linked with a multitude of targets there must be some fire behind the smoke and the Hoops fans will be looking forward to a busy January window for the first time in years.
I’m glad this news came from a top notch pundit and not a Diedco fraud.oh wait
