It’s a historic day in the pages of our club today as Celtic celebrate their 131th birthday as a football club.
Founded in 1887 on November 6th, the Bhoys have certainly gone from strength-to-strength from such humble beginnings back in the east end of Glasgow.
Formed to help the most vulnerable in the community, the Celtic football club has always been a part of the Glasgow community and it’s safe to say that we’ve had our fair share of glory since.
Who could have imagined back then when the club formed what it would go on to achieve in the century and a bit since? Certainly, they’ll be looking down smiling now.
And, as the Bhoys celebrate their latest birthday, plenty of our fans on Twitter are more than ready to celebrate the formation of the club.
Let’s look at what has been said on the social media site as the Bhoys mark their day…
