Former Celtic star Paddy McCourt has revealed that he is attending Scott Brown’s testimonial over the Scottish Cup final the day before.
The Bhoys have got a hectic weekend ahead of them with the game against Motherwell on Saturday taking place before the match to celebrate the skipper’s career at our club on Sunday.
The Derry Pele said he had the choice of coming to one of the two, then, and he revealed to the club’s official Twitter that he picked Sunday’s event because of who it’s for:
“I had the choice of coming to the Cup Final or the testimonial. I chose the testimonial because of who it’s for” Paddy McCourt on paying tribute to his great friend Scott Brown. #Broony10

The Verdict
McCourt was a real player when he was fit and so to hear him praise Scott like this and reveal why he’s coming to his game over the final just shows how highly Broony is thought of.
Hopefully, it’ll be a fitting day for the skipper and with another treble potentially sealed by then, there’ll be little concern about that not happening.
