This man’s going nowhere

Celtic have reportedly laughed off suggestions that Brendan Rodgers is going to Leicester City this summer and replace Claude Puel in the process.

The Foxes employed the French manager during last season but after a decent start, it became clear that fans were getting a bit irritated with their style of football.

With Brendan, then, they’d obviously play nice looking stuff when you look at how he has us playing but it looks as though the Bhoys have shunned that completely.

Indeed, according to The Evening Times – via the Leicester Mercury – the Bhoys have given the idea of him going no time at all.

Certainly, you can see why that is the case and I’m looking forward to seeing him manage us next season.

The Verdict

This is a story that many of us will have laughed off.

If Brendan goes in the future – I don’t think he will this summer – he’ll get another big job, not Leicester City.
