Celtic have three players included in the Scottish Premiership team of the year chosen by PFA Scotland members at senior clubs.

That is despite the champions for a third successive season currently being a massive 25 points clear of the rest of the division.

Goalkeeper Fraser Forster, defender Virgil van Dijk and midfielder Kris Commons were each selected in the final eleven.

Otherwise, Dundee United are represented by defender Andrew Robertson, midfielder Stuart Armstrong and striker Nadir Cifti, while second-placed Aberdeen boast defender Mark Reynolds and midfielder Peter Pawlett.

The remaining place at the back is filled by Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s Graeme Shinnie, with St Johnstone’s Stevie May and Kilmarnock’s Kris Boyd the other forwards in a 4-3-3 formation.
