Another win for us at the weekend, of course, but not without a few kicks – to say the least – on the way.
At first, I was perhaps concerned a title win hangover would kick-in as we fell behind but we soon turned things around as we put the Tynecastle side to the sword.
And so, as many sides have tried against us this year, they resorted to trying to kick us off the pitch and throwing in some horrible challenges.
Steven Naismith was by far the worst culprit and so it became a topic of debate on Ref Watch on Sky Sports News:

Let’s have a look at the reaction on Twitter:
What we don't know is that Harald Schumacher is the guy off screen

You have to remember @stephencraigan watched Keith Lesley getting away with challenges like this in every game he played, that’s probably why he sees nothing wrong.

@BBCSportScot – ex-Rangers player Steven Thompson on BBC's flagship Scottish football show laughed and claimed the potential leg breaking challenge that Naismith was trying "to scoop it". That's the problem having Rangers fans commentate on Celtic, no impartiality.

You’ve got to wonder at various pundits referring to these incidents as “naughty”. Deliberate intent to injure a fellow pro is thuggish.

Assault on both players.Nothing will get done about it.Look back to last season and the tackles on Tierney.SFA=CORRUPT

@spfl Shocking refereeing! How this donkey is even in charge of professional games is mental. The sooner you lot are exposed the better. It’s who you know not what you know when it comes to Scottish refereeing.

Madden will get the Cup Final after that performance and it will give a green light for Motherwell to kick us all over the park without fear of any consequences

The Verdict
He’s always struck me as an angry little man and so it proved at the weekend as he lost his cool.
I’m all for physical games with fair challenges but he was getting outclassed so he overstepped the mark and that’s happened too much against us this year.
