According to Football Insider, Celtic man Kieran Tierney has told those close to him that he expects to leave the club by the end of this week.
The defender has seen some bids come in for him from Arsenal but as yet he is still our player and up until now the Bhoys have rejected any offers that have come in for him.
He’s a good player, of course, and we do not want to lose him on the cheap but this report would suggest that some kind of negotiations are ongoing and that a conclusion could be reached in the near future.
For sure, we don’t want to see a player like him leave and I do believe he is Celtic through and through but, unfortunately, for his career, a move away might be best.
One more season might be nice but right now it looks as though that is 50/50 in terms of it actually happening.
