Tom Rogic admitted conditions were tough during the latest Celtic win at Hamilton Academical.

“The game was a bit of a battle so to come away with the three points is very important” – Tom Rogic

Dedryck Boyata and Leigh Griffiths both found the net for the visitors after falling behind early at New Douglas Park.

“I think it was very tough, particularly under the circumstances with the pitch,” Rogic told Celtic View, reports Celtic’s official website. “The game was a bit of a battle so to come away with the three points is very important and we can take positives from that.

“It was a really difficult surface and tough to play on,” he added. “It’s very slippy and it took a bit of time to get used to and I think it showed in the match.”

Rogic is back on international duty with Australia this afternoon for their World Cup qualifier in Jordan.
