Celtic will be looking to earn a big three points this weekend as we look to maintain that eight-point gap to Rangers in the title race.

I can’t see us throwing things away now in terms of the league and I think we just have the Scottish Cup to go now in terms of earning another treble.

Indeed, it’s all going well but in the summer we are going to need to strengthen again – something that we are all aware of.

And, to that end, an update from Birmingham’s Garry Monk should be of real interest to us.

As per the Mirror recently, we are interested in in-form striker Che Adams ahead of the summer window, and Monk has had this to say about the speculation – via the Birmingham Mail.

“He can go as far as he wants. He can be a top level player but he has quite a way to go, quite a lot more understanding and maturing but he’s on that path. Our biggest determination is for that to be with us.”

Certainly, Monk and co. will want to keep him but if he does move he needs to be playing.

I think, then, that we might have a good chance of getting him to sign for our club.
