The 19-year-old, who has made five appearances for his country including three at the World Cup, arrives having already made the permanent switch from Aussie side Melbourne City to their bigger affiliate club in Manchester.
A winger that possesses pace and skill, he has already been touted as a Patrick Roberts replacement by supporters, who are eager to see him take up a starting position on the wing as soon as possible.
Alongside compatriot Tom Rogic, he has a real opportunity to make a name for himself after a couple of dozen appearances for Melbourne City so far in the early stages of his career.
Can he fill the hole left by Roberts’ absence?

Arzani will be twice the player Roberts was at Celtic. What a talent

Can't wait for Tierney to start taking selfies with Arzani just to make Roberts jealous

As much as I want some new defenders, surely we all saw we need some freshening up going forward too? Think Arzani will be Roberts 2.0 #WelcomeArzani

The 3 players in Australian football that have excited me most in past 25 years are Mark Viduka, Tom Rogic & Daniel Arzani. Proud that they’ve all ended up at my club @CelticFC @socceroos #WelcomeArzani

@ClydeSSB I tweeted a couple of week's back about the possible acquisition of Daniel Arzani to Celtic, despite the turmoil that is apparently decending on Celtic! I am delighted to have him aboard a non sinking ship, captained by Broony!

Don't know much about Arzani, but he seems to be quite highly rated, so looking forward to seeing what he can add to the team. #Celtic
