Two transfer stories broke today with much gusto amongst the Celtic fans.

One is rather a look down memory lane with young Jordan Larsson being linked with a sensational move to Celtic Park in a signing that would see him follow in his fathers footsteps.

The Daily Record reports that Celtic would have to stump up £13m for the 24 year old but personally, I can’t see how Celtic can first of all justify that on a striker that has only scored one goal in sixteen appearances this season and secondly, is he really going to dislodge Kyogo from that central position?

There was no confirmation or denial about this move as there is nothing on the article that suggests the news outlet has spoken to Ange Postecoglou.

However, as reported by The Sun, it seems Postecoglou is looking to make to the Jota loan deal a permanent one and made an incredible revelation that will leave fans excited, “I’m surprised you’re only starting to talk about Jota now!

“There are a fair few people who have been talking about him for a while.

“He’s doing really well, he’s a young man who knows he’s got a hell of a lot of talent but he also knows he needs the right environment as well.

“He hasn’t had the easiest start to his career, he was out on loan last year and it didn’t work out for him.

“I think he’s loving life here and my job is to make him the best possible player he can be.

“If he feels that this is the place for his future we’d be more than happy to keep him here but he’s got a pretty good head on his shoulders and he knows that the best way forward for him is to keep playing his football and the rest will take care of itself.”

The article goes on that when Ange was pressed for clarification that they had the option to make the deal permanent, Postecoglou replied, “That’s correct“.

Brilliant news for the Hoops fans and a deal that they will be hoping gets completed permanently now, or before the end of the season.
