The winter break is underway in Scotland and hopefully Celtic will use it to their advantage out in Dubai.

The Bhoys remain top of the league and in control of the title race but it is closer than it has been in recent years and that is a worry.

We should, really, win the title with the squad we’ve got, though, so hopefully the break will energise the players and they’ll come back fit and firing.

That said, then, two young Bhoys have been asked to join up with the first team as we look for some fresh impetus.

Ewan Henderson and Ryan Mullen are the pair to get the nod in what will be a great experience and opportunity for them though the former is seeing his contract run down right now.

No-one surely expects them to play much in the coming weeks and months but some fresh energy about the place might rub off on the older members of the squad.
