Celtic started where they left off before the international break on Saturday afternoon at home to Hibernian, blitzing them 4-2 in a thrilling Scottish Premiership clash.
The win away to St Johnstone prior to the break was a sign Celtic were becoming an attacking force once again, but there were worries that the immediate two-week halt in action could set them back again.
Brendan Rodgers’ men blew those worries away with an exceptional display in the final third against Hibs, with the likes of Tom Rogic, James Forrest, Odsonne Edouard all excelling.
Rogic was the man who drew most of the plaudits after his sumptuous finish got the scoring underway, before setting up Olivier Ntcham with a deft passing assist for the second goal of the afternoon.
He had a slow start to the season but he now looks fit, motivated and ready to destroy Scottish football. Supporters couldn’t be happier.

Tom Rogic is unbelievable right now. That assist for Olivier Ntcham was perfectly weighted. His summer was fucked up with the World Cup, last couple of games are hopefully what he can maintain throughout the season.

I know thisβll sound naff but when I see Tom Rogic, I donβt see a football player, I see a basketball player or a ballet dancer or a racehorse or an ice skater. Something that moves effortlessly with balance and grace.

Good to see us back playing free flowing attacking football today. Basically when @Tom_Rogic turns up so does the team. Onwards and upwards. π

Tom Rogic was brilliant today, if he keeps this form going he'll be collecting the player of the year awards. Simply unstoppable.
