Celtic boss Neil Lennon admits the January transfer window is proving a really unsettled time at the club.

“It’s just a mad rush for a month where you’re living in a world of uncertainty” – Neil Lennon

That finally closes on Thursday and Lennon will be hoping there are no further distractions following top scorer Gary Hooper twice being the subject of unsuccessful bids from Norwich City.

“I’m trying to prepare for the next few weeks and in the back of your mind you’re thinking; what players am I going to have?,” Lennon told BBC Scotland. “It’s just a mad rush for a month where you’re living in a world of uncertainty and at times you’re vulnerable.

“I think that always throws up huge uncertainties in managers thoughts,” he reasoned. “At times you’re not sure of what you’re going to have at the end of the month.”
