Celtic will be wanting to keep Kieran Tierney at the club for as long as possible but this summer is providing the toughest test to our resolve of all so far.
The Hoops have seen bids come in from Arsenal whilst Napoli have also been interested in the player according to varied, multiple, reports.
The latter side, though, could well be off of the scent for him now.
Indeed, the Daily Record reported that a move for Tierney would only happen from the Naples side if Mario Rui left the club but he has appeared to confirm he will in fact stay now.
Logic would dictate, then, that the player staying at the Italian side means that Tierney won’t be going there and that is a boost for sure.
Clearly, we want to see Tierney stay for as long as possible and if one side is out of the chase at least that is something.
