Video evidence showing Ajeti should vindicate striker of charge

|

No sooner had the word been said, consistency was lacking again in last nights SPFL fixtures.

As Celtic’s Albian Ajeti’s penalty award was being investigated by the Scottish FA, a career ending challenge accross the city was deemed “not malicious or intended” by match commentators but also as a yellow card offence by the match referee.

Obviously because the referee dealt with the challenge at Ibrox at the time, the incident  can’t be looked at retrospectively, so they then turned their attention to the penalty incident at Rugby Park.

Ajeti was deemed to have “dived” or “simulated” to win the spot kick by the SFA judiciary process and was sentenced to a two match ban.

The decision left Celtic officials “astonished” and as expected they will look to fast track an appeal on Monday.

A close up video has surfaced on social media showing contact between ‘Killie keeper Colin Doyle and Albian Ajeti which completely vindicates the big Swiss hitman and hopefully, if used, will revert the two match ban. The video from twitter user @C_O_Y_B_I_G can be viewed below. The contact is as clear as day and surely must clear the big striker from any wrongdoing.
