In a rare interview, Kyogo Furuhashi was placed in front of the camera’s for a pre match press conference ahead of tonight’s fixture against St Mirren.

Looking relaxed and confident, Kyogo was asked about his relationship with manager, Ange Postecoglou, and his reply was full of praise not only for the gaffer but the fans as well, “First of all, I’m so grateful that the manager puts so much trust in me.

“And not just the manager but obviously the trainers that has trained with me and also teammates who passes me the ball.

“And on top of that, the fans who support me. So for me, everyone is a family and I can’t quite describe with words how special the relationships are, but I’m very grateful to be playing in this big family .”

Kyogo has slotted into life well in Glasgow since his £4.5m move to Celtic from Yokohama F Marinos and has become an instant hit with the Hoops supporters.

With sixteen goals in twenty five appearances, the Japanese striker is already being talked about in the same circles as Hoops icon, Henrik Larsson, with many fans taking about his goals in the final being Larsson-esque.

Clearly, it is very early to be comparing the striker to the Swedish legend but all the early signs are he could become a legend in his own right should his performances continue the way are at the moment.
