Celtic were denied victory by a dreadful late refereeing decision against Ross County in the Highlands.

Defender Kieran Tierney had earlier given them the lead with a tremendous low strike into the far corner.

However, Michael Gardyne looped a header over Craig Gordon to equalise, only for substitute Patrick Roberts’ superb individual finish to restore their advantage.

Stuart Armstrong then crashed a free-kick against the woodwork for the visitors before County substitute Alex Schalk clearly threw himself to the ground during the final moments.

Liam Boyce levelled again from the resultant penalty award and Hoops skipper Scott Brown was promptly sent-off for his subsequent challenge on the goalscorer.
