Winger James Forrest promises Celtic are still on course in Europe despite their 7-1 defeat at Paris St-Germain.

The Hoops will earn a Europa League place so long as not losing by three clear goals when hosting Champions League group rivals Anderlecht next month.

“No professional wants to get beaten and let in seven goals,” Forrest admitted to BBC Scotland. “But we’ll try and take the positives out of it. We just need to learn from this.

“We’ve got one more massive game against Anderlecht and our goal was to be in Europe after Christmas, so we’re still on course to do that,” he added. “We just need one last push now for that game at home.”
