Ex Celtic player, Mark Wilson, has condemned the Celtic board for their lack of inaction over this seasons failures and questions their motives for keeping the Celtic fans in the dark over what is going to happen with the Celtic managers position in the summer.

Speaking on last nights Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, Wilson is dismayed at the boards lack of communication with the fans and cannot understand why they haven’t shed any light on what direction they are aiming to take to get the club moving in the right direction in the summer.

Should Kris Boyd work on another Celtic game?

YES

NO

Wilson, speaking to host Gordon Duncan, said, “The thing that amazes me with Peter Lawwell and Dermot Desmond and things, the season is over. We all know that it’s over. What are they waiting for? What moment are they waiting for to make some sort of announcement?

“Why would you keep your fan base in limbo for no unnecessary reason? Surely there’s got to come a time, and I thought that was a good number of weeks ago, to come out and say, ‘Look, we understand that this season has been an unbelievable failure, but this is what we’re going to do to get your trust back on board, this is the direction the club going, we may not have a manager no but this is where we’re going’

Why would you keep that quiet when when’s that point going to come? It’s got to come pretty soon with the renewal of the season tickets coming round!”

One thing is for sure, the board had better have an ace up their sleeve come season ticket renewal time because if they don’t have a plan, they are playing Russian roulette with a £30m bounty!
