Patrick Roberts looks set to leave us for good this summer after a lengthy and successful spell up here.
He himself has said that he wants to try some new challenges as he looks to achieve whatever he wants to do in his career and, though we’ll be sad to see him go, we’re surely going to be able to replace him.
Certainly, there’s good cause to suggest this year we’ve not needed him as much with injuries playing their part and so it’s probably a good time for things to move on.
We will miss him somewhat, though, especially when you consider these stats from Opta Celtic on Twitter:

78 appearances, 51 starts.
18 goals, 26 assists.

The Verdict
For a winger, his goals contributed to has certainly impressed a great deal with both goals and assists during his time here.
Where he heads next is up for debate, too, but we’re sure to always respect him for being part of a hugely successful era at our club.
