Many Celtic fans are not happy that the Scottish League Cup semi-final against Hearts could automatically be moved to Murrayfield.
It was reported yesterday by The Daily Record and other Scottish media outlets that the SPFL were considering moving the fixture against Craig Levein’s side to Scottish rugby’s national stadium after concerns were raised about the viability of playing the fixture on the same day at the same venue as the other semi-final involving Rangers and Aberdeen.
It’s all set to be discussed between the competition organisers, Police Scotland and the clubs themselves.
However, some Hoops fans are fuming with the prospect of the match against Hearts being the one that is automatically set to switch times, venues and cities.
The initial fixture details, a Sunday night, were far from ideal, but plans are already in place for many and switching it now would be pretty disruptive for thousands of fans.
It’s thought that Celtic are seeking clarification on it all, suggesting that a draw to determine which fixture is to be moved is the fairest way of sorting it all out.
These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it all…
If at Celtic end up posting at Murrayfield it will make a mockery of everything Aberdeen fans can get in and out of Edinburgh much quicker than Glasgow. It would be like the @spfl to make an absolute fuck up tho and give hearts home advantage!!

The semi final venues should not be decided via lots.
-Celtic were drawn first.
-Hearts played their home fixtures at Murrayfield until recently.
-Edinburgh is an easier trip for Dons fans.
Is it asking too much to see this as fair?
Yeah, yeah … I know. ????

I don't think that is what is happening at all. Celtic are simply asking for transparency – they were first out of the hat. Why shoiud the Paris Buns get to play at Hampden without a draw? Should the lottery say Murrayfield then so be it.

The draws been made……..
Celtic v Hearts……….
FIRST OUT THE DRAW!!!!
Celtic v Hearts – Hampden
Rangers v Aberdeen – Murrayfield
????If the draw was the other way round would it take this long to sort out??????

As competition champions, surely #Celtic should get the preferential arrangements – that would be at Hampden with a midday kickoff. The other tie could easily be scheduled for another venue, possibly Murrayfield, and kicking off at say 3pm.

Celtic were drawn first so quite simply their game should be at Hampden no matter who they were drawn against. Simple really.

When League cup was drawn Hearts v Celtic 1st out was the natural Hampdung venue with AFC v TRIFC at Murrayfield easier for all fans travel wise but the SPFL just have to feck it all up ????
