Celtic defender Mark Wilson is looking forward to the visit of his former club Dundee United this weekend.
“Winning 9-0 the other week was fantastic, but it was just as good to win 1-0 on Sunday in the last minute when things are looking like they could go wrong” – Mark Wilson |
The game marks the return fixture from the controversial encounter at Tannadice last month in which Gary Hooper struck a late winner after earlier having a penalty decision reversed by referee Dougie McDonald.
“I always look forward to games against Dundee United because they`re my old team and I had many good years there,” Wilson told Celtic’s official website. “I`ll always have a connection to them. Even my debut for Celtic was against United at Celtic Park.
“We always look forward to games at home, and with us having won 9-0 in our last game at Celtic Park, that`s given us a lot of confidence for Saturday,” he added. “Winning 9-0 the other week was fantastic, but it was just as good to win 1-0 on Sunday in the last minute when things are looking like they could go wrong.”
