Celtic winger James Forrest says confidence is high for this weekend’s Scottish Cup final with Hibernian.

“It would round off a great season if we managed to get the double” – James Forrest

The 21-year-old has endured a particularly difficult season with injuries but recently made his return to action.

Now Forrest is determined to help his side finish their campaign in style by claiming the double following on from their recent title triumph.

“It would round off a great season if we managed to get the double,” he told Celtic’s official website. “All the boys are really looking forward to Sunday.

“All the players and management want to finish the season off with the cup,” Forrest added. “All we’re thinking about is that we won the last game at Hampden. We will take that into the game on Sunday and we’re full of confidence.”
