It’s Packie Bonner’s birthday today as the Irishman turns 58 years-of-age.

One of my favourite goalkeepers of all time for the club, it’s always nice to remember our favourite moments about these players when a certain milestone comes up.

Certainly, there’s a fair few to pick from for Packie – though I’m not sure the goalkeeper jersey he’s got on below is a personal favourite of mine:

A proper stalwart of the club, I have two standout moments that I think are poignant for the Bhoys.

Away from the pitch, he was Jock Stein’s last signing for the club when he first joined, so in many ways he’s one of the last connections we have to the boss’ reign.

Equally, winning the Cup final in his last game in 1995 is just as significant, and highlights what an important figure he’s been in our history.

What are your standout moments of him? Let me know!
