“You’re not one for listening, are you?” – Celtic fan media bizarre Ange criticism

I know Celtic fans are hurting after that defeat today. We all are.

We were all so set up for a grand finale to the season that defeat today was practically unthinkable for the hardcore element of the fans and aa possibility for the others.

And that’s ok. The brilliant thing about the Celtic fans is that they can all have different opinions whilst sharing the same voice.

Because we all want to see the team at the same place regardless of our opinions on how we get there.

The top of the tree. Ruling Scottish football.

And for some, that included this season. For others, maybe not this season exactly but as long as we were competing then that would be a start. Because the size of the rebuild was monumental.

So huge was it, in fact, that many were willing to write off this seasons league challenge as long as they saw progress on the park.

And as we stand right now, we are top of the league with a cup already in the cabinet. For me, that is simply outstanding.

But for this fan, Richard McGinley of the ETims fan media account, todays result wasn’t good enough. And again, that is fine. But to go onto twitter and post this, “Dear Mr Postecoglou. Probably better you don’t read tomorrow’s Etims Diary. Then again, you’re not one for listening, are you?”, was absolutely bizarre.

I mean, yeah, we’re all hurting but are we now to assume that the job Ange is doing now is not good enough just because we lost to our rivals in the cup?

Come on. And this is what I meant by keeping calm heads.

And you really have to wonder what on earth he is on about when he follows it up with this, “If he can’t see what he’s doing wrong, then it’s only a matter of time before he seriously ***** up.”

Very bizarre and very over the top.

I agree,I’ve said it many times before we need a plan B when things are not working.why does ange refuse to realise and admit it.

Etims do that a lot. Just react with emotion. Good guys I’m sure but today we lost. Next week we will hopefully win. Yes today was a semi final but it’s about putting the ball in the net. Forget Madden, yes he was hopeless and probably deliberately but we have to focus on us, not them. We did not play well enough to score more than them. So we lost. For the rest of the season, we need to avoid that and if we beat them at Parkhead, then it’ll soften the blow of this weekend. And if we qualify for the Ch league and they don’t by failing in the Europa league, we’ve really annoyed them. So cling to what we can enjoy, not what we can’t.

If someone said to me at the start of the season Celtic will win a cup and with 5 games to go will be 6 points clear I would have bit their hand off look at the run of games without a defeat immense remember when Ange came in he did not have much time to get a team up and running, so could these negative shite talks please stop.

Week in week out. Does the boss not see we have a problem in defence. Starfelt is a liability. Not worth a celtic jersey. Can the boss tell us what he sees in him
