Celtic take a single-goal lead into their Europa League tie with Zenit St Petersburg this evening (kick-off 6.00pm).

The visitors will have to make a decision whether to retain the same eleven who performed so strongly as midfielder Callum McGregor scored their winner a week ago.

However, that witnessed leading marksman Scott Sinclair remaining an unused substitute.

Midfielder Tom Rogic is also in contention after making his first appearance since December in the weekend draw against St Johnstone.

But Stuart Armstrong, Nir Bitton, Dedryck Boyata, Marvin Compper, Craig Gordon, Leigh Griffiths, Jonny Hayes, Anthony Ralston and Patrick Roberts were all sidelined.

“They showed top quality away from home against us, and to be honest we played really well as well,” skipper Scott Brown told BBC Scotland. “We are going to need to up our game coming over here.

“We know it is going to be difficult but we believe we can do it,” he added. “Over the last two seasons in Europe we’ve been developing. We’ve been playing different formations and styles against top-quality teams.”
