It hasn’t been a quiet week for Celtic Football Club.

With the league season starting last weekend, a UEFA Champions League qualifying tie against AEK Athens on Wednesday and a Tynecastle test tomorrow, the action is coming thick and fast, but it’s off field drama that most supporters have been thinking about.

Brendan Rodgers has given a series of interviews and press conferences over the past few days that have had Celtic fans debating for hours.

It’s clear that the manager hasn’t exactly been overjoyed with the transfer dealings of the club this summer and heading into the last few weeks on the transfer window has called on the club to add quality signings to replace players that have left, such as Stuart Armstrong and Patrick Roberts.

While Rodgers’ honesty with fans is welcome, it’s also been frustrating considering the consistent negative headlines.

These supporters have taken to Twitter over the last couple of days to share their thoughts on it all.
