Celtic have ended the Scottish Premiership weekend in third position after losing 2-0 to Hibernian at Easter Road on Sunday.

With Kilmarnock beating Dundee on Saturday and Rangers winning 1-0 against Hamilton at Ibrox this afternoon, the Hoops are again playing catch up with teams above them, but do have a games in hand over both sides.

The game against Hibs was a disaster from beginning to end, with Neil Lennon’s side taking the lead just seconds into the match, doubling their lead in the second half and restricting Celtic just just a chance or two across the 90 minutes.

Much of the blame has fallen on Brendan Rodgers’ shoulders for the performance, with many feeling he got his tactics and team selection all wrong.

The decision to play a back three raised eyebrows, as did continued faith being placed in winger Scott Sinclair, who was again poor.

The manager himself was willing to take responsibility for the performance, with many fans agreeing and taking to Twitter to share their frustrations with his day’s work…
