Quoted by the Daily Record, Celtic midfielder James Forrest has offered a promising update on the state of the squad at the moment with us looking to earn another batch of trophies this season.
The Bhoys have been rather exciting this season so far with them doing brilliantly in the league and also getting off to a decent start in the Europa League.
Things are ticking along pretty nicely at the moment, then, but it remains to be seen exactly how we are going to fare in the coming months.
The squad seems ready for the challenge, though, and Forrest has revealed that each player is pushing the other for a spot in the side – which is exactly what you want to see.
Indeed, it should spur the Bhoys on to keep recording the wins and this is what Forrest had to say about things at the Hoops so far:
“Everyone is fighting to get into the team.
“It keeps everybody on their toes because they know there are international players not even in the squad or on the bench.”
