According to Football Insider, Scott Sinclair has told Celtic that he wants to leave the club and this could leave his position at the club rather untenable.
The winger had Derby County coming in for him late in the day yesterday as the English deadline for clubs in the top two tiers came and went.
He is, however, still a Celtic player and now it remains to be seen what exactly is going to happen with him in the rest of the month.
He’s fallen down the pecking order of late but will a move to Europe appeal? There’s no way he’s going to drop down the leagues in Scotland or England for that matter.
Indeed, will anyone want to come in for him? It’s certainly hard to predict what is going to happen but it appears as though he’s now looking to start a new challenge.
It’s going to be an interesting one to follow.
