Champions Celtic have agreed an undisclosed fee for Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes.
The 29-year-old forward scored in the Dons’ recent Scottish Cup final defeat to the Glasgow side at Hampden Park.
Republic of Ireland international Hayes is actually contracted at Pittodrie until 2019 and was also wanted by Cardiff City.
However, he’s already worked with Parkhead boss Brendan Rodgers while at former club Reading.
Hayes struck 29 goals in more than two-hundred appearances since joining Aberdeen from Inverness Caledonian Thistle in 2012.
