Kris Commons has been a “great signing” for Celtic according to their assistant manager Johan Mjallby.
“He is a great signing. He is an important player for us and it is not only his goals” – Johan Mjallby
The 27-year-old increased his goal return since moving to Celtic to five in eight games with a superb double in the weekend victory over bottom club Hamilton Academical at Parkhead.
And those added to the fourteen he netted at Derby County prior to completing a move to Glasgow in January.
“He is a great signing. He is an important player for us and it is not only his goals,” Mjallby told the Belfast Telegraph. “He can strike the ball well, he is very good to have when it comes to set pieces.
“Hopefully this run is going to continue with him chipping in with goals and hopefully he will keep fit and improve.”
