Celtic have had a bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Leigh Griffiths turned down according to their head coach Kenny Jackett.

“We’ve rejected a bid from Celtic” – Kenny Jackett

The 23-year-old Scottish international has scored thirteen goals in thirty appearances for the Molineux club this season.

“We’ve rejected a bid from Celtic,”
Jackett confirmed to BBC WM. “I’m sure there’ll be further dialogue.”

Griffiths originally began his career with Livingston before joining Dundee in July 2009. He moved to Wolves eighteen months later and has since enjoyed a couple of successful loan stints at Hibernian.
