Neil Lennon admitted the display of goalkeeper Fraser Forster had been absolutely crucial following the 4-0 victory at Hibernian.

The Hoops eventually emerged as comprehensive winners but the big English international made a number of decent saves, most noticeably from Sam Stanton.

“I thought it was in,” Lennon conceded to BBC Scotland. “He’s one of the only types of keeper who can make those saves. He’s so big and has great presence but he has great agility as well.

“He’s got a huge career ahead of him and he’s made giant strides here,” he added. “He really earned his corn today.”

Meanwhile, Kris Commons (2), Virgil van Dijk and Teemu Pukki did the business at the other end as Celtic extended their unbeaten league record this season to twenty-two games.
